MBA’s dynamic duo Dave Lee and Minsu Park quickly stole the spotlight at the opening quarter knocking down back to back buckets for a combined 15 points aiding in their double- digit control, 19-8.

The SIS Geckos reassessed their defensive plans focusing on stopping Lee and Park. They managed to minimize their output at the second canto but continued to struggle as well as only AJ Hudkins could get passed MBA’s wall of defense with six points.

The halftime break seemed to have fallen in MBA’s favor as they had better success on the defensive end with several stops and turning it into fast break opportunities finished by Lee while Stephen Eo stepped up firing three consecutive triples to extend the deficit 50-28.

The Geckos pulled out all their strings at the final quarter as their defensive efforts left MBA nearly scoreless.

Lee joined Hudkins in their rally producing 12 points together erasing the 20 point gap but did not have enough time as MBA used the clock to their advantage securing the win 56-42 and their spot in the semifinals.
