MHS Watch & Learn beats KMA to stay undefeated in Rocball

IN the latest action for “Saipan’s Own Sport” Rocball, The MHS Teacher’s team Watch & Learn, defeated KMA to take the number one spot as the only undefeated team.

And, team Sai Ki So was eliminated after their third loss of the season to team Fam Bam.

In team statistics, Sam Do So leads the league with 24 two point aces, team Recognize leads the league with 2 point optional scoring xunks, team KMA leads the league in smacking down served ball with 5 jams, teams Fam Bam and Watch & Learn are tied for the 2 point backcourt scoring, and team Fam Bam leads the league with 5 three point goals scored.

In individual stats, Christian Taule of Recognize has scored 8 aces, Emery Fitial of Watch & Learn has scored 2 xunks, Nick Gross of Watch & Learn has scored 3 kees, three players are tied for scoring 3 point goals; Kaystone Norech and Troy Ngirarois of KMA and Nick Balban of Fam Bam.

But, the big story for personal best and on the way to set a new record for slapping down served ball goes to Ryutaro Litulmar. Taro, as he more commonly called, jammed 3 serves during the pre-season games and made his third jam of the regular season against team Sam Do So.

In international news, the Rocball Amateur Federation of India is currently communicating with the Nepal Rocball Association for their first International Rocball Tournament. The India vs. Nepal Rocball games is scheduled to take place in the last week of April 2018.

If team Recognize loses their game against Watch & Learn this Wednesday, the last four teams will start the semi-final games best of three.

The two teams that emerge from the semi-finals will meet for the best of five games to determine this year’s Rocball Champions for this region. (With other countries playing Rocball, Saipan can no longer boast of having the best Rocball players in the World). But, we still have the best Rocball players in Oceana.
