SUFC were short of players, but they still gave a good fight.

They kept the pressure up right from the start drawing first blood at the sixth minute by Marinel Falamlimpa gaining control, 1-0.

But then SUFC’s shortage started to show as they were unable to cover all grounds leaving several openings for THFC to strike back.

After three minutes of play they finally found their answer with Judy Andebor sending the shot through the back of the net to even the score. It did not stop there as she connected her second goal at the 16th mark to steal the lead 2-1.

SUFC gave it their all looking for a comeback but failed to slip past THFC’s defense in all their attempts.

At one point their aggressiveness turned on them as Andebor was left open to take advantage of the weak side defense sending the dagger goal at the 40th minute to secure the win 3-1.

MP United Football Club also joined the ranks as their teamwork forced Matansa Football Club to succumb to defeat 6-0.

After a slow first half start, MPU’s Stella McCallion and Maury Tybaco went on a spree adding two goals each alongside Audrey Castro to quickly seal the deal.
