Tan Holdings crushes Shirley’s FC, 16-2

TANHODLINGS Football Club left their mark in the U15 Boys Division of the 2018 Spring Youth League displaying dominance against Shirley’s Football Club for a 16-2 victory at the Koberville Elementary School soccer field last Saturday.

Tan Holdings FC put the pedal to the metal as soon as the ball dropped as Jancee Famularcano drew first blood in the very first minute of the game to set the tone.

Shirley’s FC tried to recuperate for 10 minutes but gradually lost their ability to defend as Tan Holdings FC came back even more aggressive.

Luis Claridades acted as the sparkplug draining the second goal at the 13th mark while Taka Borja fired three straight makes followed by Aloyzeus Angeles, Sherwin Villanueva to put them at a comfortable 8-0 lead.

Tan Holdings FC carried their output onto the second half as Ezekiel Canape quickly found his footing connecting two straight goals at the 38th and 39th minute and another by Angeles to extend the gap.

Shirley’s FC finally broke the silence during making two goals by Gabriel Arkoh and Rakib Hassan but was not enough to pull a comeback as Tan Holdings FC’s Kohtaro Goto added four goals in a row to add the icing on the cake 16-2.

Kanoa Football Club joined the winner’s circle defeating Paire Football Club 6-1.

KNFC held a steady performance throughout the game to keep them at the driver’s seat. Merrick Toves started off the run firing the first goal at the seventh minute.

Although Paire FC’s Kaden Church answered back at the 14th mark, they were quickly silenced as KNFC brought in two more goals made by Sean Gil and Ian Maniago to remain in front 3-1.

No matter what Paire FC gave, KNFC was always one step ahead to defend any incoming attack. With the successful stops, they added three more goals by Toves and Taehun Han to lock in the win 6-1.

MP United Football Club prevented the upset as they pulled through with the late-game shots to force the draw with Matansa Football Club 2-2.

Matansa FC seemed to have the upper hand as Razeff Altamirano and Lolobeyong Benito drained the only two goals at the first half for the lead.

But in the second half MP United struck back with Christian Guerrero and Oliver Fajardo at the 28th and 40th mark to deny the loss forcing a 2-2 draw.
