MP United aimed to even the score but only slowed down Shirley’s FC’s attack for a brief moment.

Shirley’s FC eventually broke through once again at the 12th mark as Jerlyn Castillo’s speed was outmatched leaving her open for the strike followed by Costales’ second goal in the 21st minute to give them the edge 3-0.

MP United tried their best to create shot opportunities but just could not get close enough due to SFC’s persistency on both ends of the field.

After just 10 minutes of the second half SFC regained momentum as Costales collected another goal at the 41st mark while Therize Millare joined the scoreboard in the 44th to spread and Castillo finishing at the 60th to defeat MP United 6-0.

Southern United Football Club joined the winner’s circle handing Matansa Football Club the loss 5-2.

Southern United was in full control at the first half as Keisha Deleon Guerrero was the only player on the spotlight sinking two goals in the 18th and 33rd minutes to take the lead 2-0.

Matansa FC broke the silence at the second half with Jenelyn Palad and Winneb Echavez drained a goal each but failed to stop Southern United’s run bringing three more goal to put them out of reach and take the win 5-2.

Kanoa Football Club bagged the third win of the day sharing a similar victory with SFC as they silenced TanHoldings Football Club 4-0.
