Hyatt Regency Saipan 22nd Annual Charity Golf Classic receives generous donation from MVA

(Press Release) — Hyatt Regency Saipan’s 22nd Annual Charity Golf Classic welcomes a generous donation from Marianas Visitors Authority as a platinum sponsor.

The donation from Marianas Visitors Authority will aid this year’s beneficiaries: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam and CNMI, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses; CNMI Salvation Army, aiding them in extending the reach of their soup kitchen and food bank for the CNMI; Center for Independent Living in the CNMI as they ensure the rights of people with disabilities to live independently and fully integrate within the community, outside of an institutional care setting; 670 Sonics Basketball Association in their effort to provide the youth of Saipan a safe haven through the game of basketball while developing their character, teamwork and leadership skills as a whole person; Dan Dan Middle School STEM and Garden Club which supports middle school students with the development and maintenance of their school’s food production garden using hydroponics, aquaponics, raised bed planting, chicken raising/breeding as well as experimenting in solar thermal energy uses; Saipan Paddling Club, aiding the club in expanding through the purchase of new equipment such as an outrigger canoe for upcoming competitions.

Hyatt Regency Saipan thanks MVA for their continued support in the community through the annual golf tournament.

At Hyatt, the belief in fulfilling our purpose first begins with caring for others so that they can be their best - at work and beyond. That is the core purpose of the Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic, there is no better place to care for others than within our own community.
