Tan Holdings FC take 2nd win in M-League

TAN HOLDINGS Football Club shared the second place in Division A of the 2018 Spring Men’s M-League after finishing strong against Winners & Pacific Eco., 6-1 last Sunday at the Hopwood Middle School soccer field.

Tan Holdings held most possessions due to their aggressive approach. Although Winners & Pacific kept them out of their territory during most of their attacks, they were forced to foul and deny a shot.

Sean Perez scored goal on penalty shot giving THFC the lead, 1-0.

They carried their momentum to the second half staying aggressive. Jershwin Angeles scored on penalty kick as well in the 51st minute to extend the gap, 2-0.

Winners & Pacific broke the silence in the 58th mark made by Ensik Choi shedding some light.

However THFC erased all hopes as Angeles stayed efficient with back-to-back goals with Perez and Joshua De Leon to secure the win 6-1.

Okadaya earned their first win in the league taking down Kanoa Football Club 3-1.

It was an even match but Okadaya’s persistency kept them under control.

After 30 minutes of back and forth action Okadaya broke the ice all thanks to Yoshi Mafnas’ shot.

Mafnas delivered second goal seven minutes later but was answered back by Kanoa FC’s Merrick Toves to two minutes after to stay within reach 2-1.

Neither team could penetrate inside until the last the two minutes of the second half where Mafnas connected his third goal to take the win 3-1.
