Na’Gupu keeps rising in SEDA Flame Tree Thursday League

NAKED Fish Na’Gupu climbed to the top as they collected their 138th win over the Amari’s Creepers last Thursday and strengthening their seat at fourth in the 2018 SEDA Bud Light Dart League Flame Tree Thursday Division at Amar’s Tavern.

It was Na’Gupu’s strong start that gave them the edge throughout the game.

Sim, Goru and Jemma were able to set the tone triumphing over their opponents by near two points to pull the 3-1 run at the opening 301 match.

The Creepers tried to make up for the slow start with teamwork but were only met at a stalemate splitting the next two Partners matches to remain behind.

Na’Gupu then cleared enough space with yet another 3-1 run during the Singles Regular Cricket match giving the Creepers two free wins before ending the game 9-6.

The 6JMS Drillers are also making their way back to the top as they stunned Jonny’s Team Kyodai! 8-7 clipping their 174th win, putting them one win away from sharing the first place.

Kyodai! had to play catch up as they let Drillers slip away with a 3-1 run at the beginning of the game. Luckily for Drillers they focused on defending the controls splitting the next four matches successfully to secure the win as Kyodai! fell short 8-7.

Jonny’s Real Deal shared a similar story as they made an epic comeback to snatch the win from Naked Fish DNA Jump-It 8-7.

Jump-It seemed to have the win in the palm of their hands as they powered past the opening match for the 4-0 spread.

Despite their dominant start, Real Deal gradually made their way back to the top. After splitting the Partners Crazy Cricket they followed through with a two-win sweep and then a 3-1 run to gain the edge 7-5.

Jump-It struck back with a sweep of their own to even the score 7-7 but Real Deal made sure not let them slip again claiming the final Team 1011 match to triumph 8-7.

Franken Boardmembers joined the winners’ circle taking down Jonny’s Serial Killaz 10-5 with the Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty defeating the Dartaholiks 14-1.
