Blue Ayuyus off to Japan for training

THE NMI Blue Ayuyus Men’s National Team departed the island yesterday to Hakone, Japan where they will join for the first time, an international training camp in preparation for the East Asia Cup Round 1 that will be held in Mongolia in September.

In order for the NMI team to prepare for the big event in Mongolia, the team had to work with teams from Japan in scrimmage matches to hone their skill and knowledge of off-island competition.

The team will be in Japan four six days from the 17th to 22nd and will be having four matches.

Their first match will be on the 18th against Nittai University followed by their second match the next day with Kokusai High School, Kokadaifuzoku on the 20th and Shonan Bellmare on the 21st to close out their training matches.

The training pool consist of Christopher Aninzo, John Joseph Bucayo, Joshua Hark Galarion, Enrico Del Rosario, Michael Barry, Jehn Joyner, Thaiphi Austria, Sabastian Manabat, Louie Calayag, Jonathan Takano, Anthony Fruit, Jonathan Capayas, Joshua Abragan, Danny Agulto, Joel Fruit, Sunjoon Tenorio, Ryu Tanzawa and Nick Swaim alongside Head Coach Mitchiteru Mita, GK Coach Chi Ming Tang, Physiotherapist Yuki Masuda and Team Manager Norman Del Rosario.

 The player list is not the official NMI Men’s National team roster for EAFF. It is a training camp pool list.

All the 29 NMI pool players still have the chance to make it on the official roster for the EAFF.
