Nakayoshi gave a good scare at first as they played as equals with Jun and Charlie splitting the opening Singles Regular Cricket match 2-2.

However the Mafia maintained focused as they added some cushion using teamwork to sweep the following Partners 701 match for the two point advantage 4-2.

Nakayoshi tried to stay in the fight as Jun stopped the bleeding grabbing the first round of the Singles Half-It match but all hope was quickly erased as Mafia recovered to snatch the remaining three rounds holding on to the lead 7-3.

But no matter what Nakayoshi threw at him, they just could not break through Mafia’s defense. Mafia already secured the game with their second two-win sweep at the Partners Crazy Cricket match but continued to collect four more before putting Nakayoshi down 13-4.

The 6JMS Pythons had a much tougher battle but pulled through at the last moment to make the upset against 6JMS 151 Proofers 9-8.

It was a back and forth battle as neither team wanted to give up the edge. The first four rounds were split evenly but it was Pythons who stepped up when it mattered most pulling out all their strings during the final Singles 501 match with Ric, Eric and Ronald showcasing their individual talents to bag the 3-1 run and the win by just one point 9-8.
