The Wildboyz started off drawing first blood as Patrick Cepeda and Ray Matsunaga defeated IT&E’s Nolan Cultura and Cezar Sangalang in the opening Partners 8-Ball match for the 1-0 lead.

However Destroyers made their way into control as Rolly Villanueva, Jeff Garcia and Cultura all hit their marks at the following Singles 8-Ball match to pull a clean 3-win sweep 3-1.

The Destoyers tried to hold on but fell into a sudden drought as only Gian Flores triumphed in the next two rounds while the Wildboyz gained three more wins to even out the score 4-4.

The Destroyers did gain the edge once more nipping the third Partners 8-Ball match but the Wildboyz answered back even harder earning their first sweep of the night which was critical as it was the last three wins needed to secure the match.

The Destroyers still had chance to stay in the fight but acted too late as they only collected two wins falling short and settling for the defeat to the hands of the Wildboyz 9-7 claiming the Bud Cup title.
