Elliot and Saures received their awards after the consolation and championship games between at the Saipan International School court on Tuesday.

They are both from the defending champions, Grace Christian Academy Eagles whose Team 2 defeated Mount Carmel School Knights in the consolation game and the Team 1 won the championship crown over the Agape Christian School Torchbearers.

CCOPSSA Sports Committee Chairman expressed sigh of relief that after almost three months delay due to Super Typhoon Yutu, the coed volleyball finally concluded and ready to prepare for the next season.

He recognized that GCA Eagles who won the title last year remained the power house in this recent season.

Elliot’s performance in the final game did not go unnoticed of course.

Although the entire team did really well like Kat Saures who made perfect attacks happen with her play-setting tosses, most of Elliot’s aces were carried out at crucial moments for a strong lead which they kept all the way to their victory.

Big credits, too to Kean Pajarillaga, Juruel Magtalas, Jia Hao Yang, Camille Sablan and Lamar Soleil who put up strong offensives to ensure the win for the Eagles.
