Patriots Angels in 2nd straight win

LEFTFIELDER Christy Aldan homered to help the Patriots Angels rout the Balas, 23-13 for their second straight win in the 2019 Natibu Sports Association Girls Fast Pitch League at the Capital Hill Softball Field on Saturday.

The Ayuyus took their second win as well with a forfeited game against the Niners.

In the game between the Patriots Angels and the Balas, Aldan stretched their lead with a home run in the top of the fourth inning. She also helped put up a strong lead earlier in the game with a double in the second inning.

Shortstop Kiana Aldan and right fielder Franzie delivered single apiece.

For the Balas, shortstop Jaime Pangelinan and pitcher, Apple Tyquingeco had one single apiece. Angel Deleon Guerrero and Kaitlyn hit two singles had two singles apiece.

In the opening games on Feb.9, the Patriots Angels beat the Ayuyu, 7-6 while the Balas defeated the Niners, 26-5.
