Matansa Football Club 1 dominated the other group of the Masters division collecting six points with their two wins making their way to face Still Playing in the finals.

Both teams played well but it was Still Playing that delivered. Their communication was their strongest asset as they protected their end of the court and moved the ball with pace. Still Playing’s aggressiveness was rewarded with two points in the first half while keeping MFC 1 silent.

MFC 1 finally broke the ice during the second half with the single goal but Still Playing answered back with a goal of their own to secure the win 3-1 claiming the championship title of the Masters division.

Wuteva also shared a dominant run grasping the title of the Women’s division. Wuteva outshined the competition triumphing in both of their matches for the six points. Wannabe Soccer Players also held the same record defeating their opponents for six points to enter the finals. Both teams gave it their all answering back for each goal made. However it was Wuteva that pulled through as they had more shot opportunities outscoring Wannabe Soccer Players 6-3.

Betde United joined the celebration as they bagged the championship title of the U12 division.

Paire Football Club was the youngest team to hold a championship title as they took down Matansa Football Club 2-1 to end the Women’s Football Day.
