Lee first started with the victory over France’s Flavie Brugnone 6-1, 7-5 and continued to advance after taking down Austria’s Emily Meyer 6-3, 6-1. She then entered the quarterfinals where she defeated Hungary’s Luca Janosi 6-2, 6-0 and continued her move after triumphing over France’s Celia Belle Mohr 6-2, 7-5 to reach the finals.

The 17-year old CNMI player continues to wow players and spectators alike as he beat the #84 tennis player in the world, France’s Aubane Droguet 7-6(3), 2-6, 7-6(6) in the finals of the tournament that was held last Saturday giving her 100 ITF world ranking points moving from #170 to #121 in the world.

“That should help her reach her goal which is to play in these tournaments in Africa and then Europe and hoping to get her ranking high enough that she can qualify in the French Open in May.” said Jeff Race during an interview with Marianas Variety. Carol Lee is still trying to get enough points to get into the qualifying event.
