At first the U15 Boys NT played nearly as equals. MPU opened up the scoring board after just nine minutes of play with Jason Quimzom finishing the play to gain the lead 1-0. U15 Boys NT then focused on defense and kept MPU from penetrating through. After much effort, U15 Boys NT finally got even with Brian Lubao celebrating at the 18th minute for the 1-1 deadlock.

As time passed, MPU started to control the pace. Their continuous attacks broke through U15 Boys NT’s defense twice leaving Skyler Poon and Joshua Abragan open to connect a goal each spreading the gap 3-1 at the end of the first half.

The U15 Boys NT tried to stay alive as they moved through the second half but was left with no answers even with the successful stop of MPU’s offense. However MPU did sneak away with one more shot made by Eun Syu Hahn before ending the game with the victory 4-1.

Matansa Football Club also joined the celebration as they held Kanoa Football Club down 5-3 for the win.

Kanoa FC started off strong as Andruw Omelau pushed through to connect the first shot at the 10th mark. MFC then answered back seven minutes later thanks to Ronnel Ocanada bringing the score at an even 1-1. Ocanada did not stop there as he drained his second straight goal at the 35th minute before ending the first half 2-1.

KNFC picked up the pace returning from the break as Omelau fired his second goal followed by Ian Maniago. However their run was cut short as MPU’s Romel Mendoza retaliated with a goal alogn with two more made by Razeff Altamirano to outscore KNFC and hand MPU the win 5-3.
