Kanoa 1 remains undefeated in U15 Boys youth league

KANOA Football Club 1 still holds a flawless record in the U15 Boys 2019 Spring Youth League as they crushed their younger brothers Kanoa FC 2 9-0 during last Saturday’s game held at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

KNFC 1 did not hesitate as they quickly found their first goal just three minutes into the game made by Jaydee Jose. The rest of the team picked up the momentum as they joined in the assault. Jim Maniago added the team’s second goal at the 8th minute while Sean Gil and Jose added two more at the 16th and 18th mark for the 4-0 lead.

No matter what KNFC 2 did, they could not stop KNFC 1’s run. Markus Toves and Sean Gil added two more goals before ending the first half 6-0.

KNFC 2 managed to reduce the onslaught but only for a brief moment as KNFC 1 continued to strike without a sweat. Markus Toves fired his second goal seven minutes into the second half along with Gil to extend the gap while Merrick Toves did the finish touches with his first goal of the day to secure the win 9-0.

Shirley’s Football Club shared a similar story as they silenced Matansa Football Club 9-0.

It took a while for SFC to get into rhythm but as soon as they scored their first goal, they never looked back. It started off at the 13 minute where Devin Igisomar drew first blood. Not long after that Rakib Hassan took over connecting two consecutive goals to hand SFC the 3-1 lead.

But it did not stop there. SFC’s biggest run came during the second half where they brought six more goals. MFC was left stunned as they could not do anything but try to defend their end of the field but could not find a way to stop the attack. Rakib contributed a total of four goals while Igisomar completed a hat-trick as well with Ratul Robait and Harry Kapwich joining the scoreboard to grasp the blowout victory 9-0.

Joining the winners’ circle was MP United Football Club as they too clipped a dominant victory over TanHoldings Football Club 8-0.

This time it was teamwork that gave them the win. Dylan Mister ended with two goals while Richard Steele, Andrew Chung, Dev Bachani, Richard Castro, Evan Mendiola and Jeremiah Diaz shared a goal each silence THFC 8-0.
