Frank ‘The Crank’ Camacho back in action

FRANK “The Crank” Camacho will be making his way back into the 8-side as he will be locking fists with Nick Hein on June 1st in the Ultimate Fighting Championship Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden.

“I feel great going back into the fight. Any opportunity to fight in the UFC and represent home is such a great feeling.” said the NMI fighter during an interview with Marianas Variety.

After Camacho’s loss to Geoff Neal back in September 8th, 2018 in UFC 228, he has been training hard to get back on his feet and is more than confident in getting the win this time around.

“I’m doing everything possible in my training out here in California to get a clear win on June 1st.” stated Camacho. Camacho has been training with team Oyama in California “The main focus for this fight is discipline and implementing the game plan my coaches have for me here at team Oyama.. They are veterans in the game and know how to approach this stylistic match up. The goal is to have the discipline to follow the game plan and trust we will get the W like that.” He added.

Under the wings of Coach Colin Oyama and the team in Irvine, Califonia, Camacho has been focusing on becoming a better athlete which includes eating like one and taking care of his body like an athlete.

His opponent Nick Hein holds a record of 14 wins and 4 losses. His ability to last the entire fight has been noticed as nine of his wins were via decision including his fight with Drew Dober, one of Camacho’s fight of the night opponents, while four came from submission and one from TKO. Camacho, on the other hand, is known for his striking power clipping 15 TKO’s out of his 21 wins and 7-loss record.

This is Camacho’s first of a four-fight deal in his second contract with UFC so there is a lot more action coming for the NMI fighter.
