Marianas Water, IT&E Destroyers triumph in SBA Tuesday League

AMARI’S Marianas Water and IT&E Destroyers continued to hold the chain in the 2019 SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball Tuesday League as they defeated their adversaries to collect their 140th and 123rd wins respectively to remain on top of the Tuesday Division after last Tuesday’s games held at in separate locations.

Marianas Water still sits at throne as they have improved their record to 140 wins and only 55 losses after their victory over 9Eleven Wild Boyz 9-4.

Rey and Roel were able to hand Marianas Water the head start as they triumphed in the opening Singles 8-Ball match for the 2-1 start. As a team Jerry and Simeon strengthened their odds adding another win while Jerry stood alone with their fourth win before Wild Boyz could stop the bleeding.

Wild Boyz tried to rally back with three consecutive wins taken by Shane, Ray, Ben and Pat but Marianas Water quickly regained momentum retaliating with a 3-win sweep to stay ahead. Even with the win in the bag, they continued to add the icing on the cake grabbing the last two rounds to triumph 9-4.

Amari’s IT&E Destroyers sits right below Marianas Water at second place with 123 wins after taking down 9Eleven Club 88 Str8 BlackBall with a similar victory 9-4.

Even with Str8 BlackBall taking the preemptive strike, Destroyers quickly bounced back with four straight wins to set the tone 4-1.

Str8 BlackBall tried to fight back but could only put a dent in Destroyers’ run before falling to the inevitable defeat 9-4.

Last on the night’s win column was Brannon’s Docomo Hustlers who took down Brannon’s 670 Builders 12-1.
