Thunder Darts Impact moves one step closer to top spot

6JMS Thunder Darts Impact is now one win away from claiming first place after gathering its 198th victory on Thursday against Jonny’s Just4fun-JumpIt, 14-1, in the B Division of the 2019 SEDA Bud Light Dart League at the 6JMS Sports Bar.

The Thunder Darts proved unstoppable after tasting their first sweep in the opening 301 match. Bobby Deleon, Rowel Alfaro, Gaius Gille and June Orencia just could not miss a target. Their team-mates Melvin Gallardo and Rod Pergil in the Partners Crazy Cricket match extended the distance with two more wins. JumpIt finally broke the ice midgame with Sally Aguon and Kev Maritita notching a win in the Partners 501 match. However, Thunder Darts quickly disposed their opponents’ hopes as they dominated the remaining matches with ease leaving JumpIt in the dust with only one win, 14-1.

The closest battle that night was between Drew’s No Fear and 6JMS 80 Proofers. No Fear won, 8-7.

No Fear’s strong start allowed it to pull a 3-1 run and this was followed by a 2-win sweep. The 80 Proofers fought back but could only split the next two matches which allowed No Fear to remain in front. Although the 80 Proofers grabbed the last three rounds, the match was already in the bag for No Fear, 8-7.

6JMS Darrty Minded still holds the top spot after defeating the Serial Killaz 8-7.

Darrty Minded started with a 5-1 lead after the first two matches. The Serial Killaz retaliated with a 2-win sweep of their own but so did Darrty Minded in the Partners Half-It match to secure the win, 8-7.

In the other matches, 6JMS Rektify beat Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty 9-6; Jonny’s Parakeyu defeated Oleai Five-0, 11-4; Drew’s Twisted Tribe took down Drew’s Dartaholics, 9-6; the 6JMS Bandits bested Jonny’s Kyodai, 9-6; and Oleai Na’Gupu triumphed against Jonny’s Real Deal, 13-2.
