The 101 Proofers, the third ranked team, found their rhythm right from the start with Orly Paconian, Luis Ramos and Nestor Abing dominating the one-on-one battle in the opening regular cricket match for a 3-1 run. They continued their streak with Abing and Ramos joining hands along with Paconian and Sam Fabito for a two-win sweep to widen their team’s lead, 5-1.

They tried to keep the run going with one more win in the following singles half-it match but Ridin’ Darrty’s Charlie Peters and Darrol Atalig managed to stop the bleeding by splitting the rounds evenly to stay alive although still behind, 3-7,

Ridin’ Darrty started to gain momentum, pulling a two-win sweep and notching three more in the singles 501 match. But it was a little too late as the 101 Proofers clinched victory, 9-5.

The 6JMS Drunken Dragons had the toughest match of the night as they barely survived against the 6JMS Mafia 1, 9-8.

The Dragons were in control at first with a 3-1 run in the singles regular cricket match. The Mafia then returned fire in the next partners match with a two-win sweep and followed it up with a 3-1 victory in the second one-on-one match to snatch the lead 5-4.

The Mafia split the partners crazy cricket match but the Dragons mustered enough strength for a 3-1 run to tie the game 8-8 before finishing off the Mafia in the final team 1101 match to secure the win, 9-8.

In the other match, Uncle Mel’s Scorpions triumphed over the 6JMS Hustlers 12-5.
