MHS Varsity beats MHS Junior Varsity, GCA in girls basketball tourney

MARIANAS High School Varsity easily defeated MHS Junior Varsity, 34-10, in the opening game of the 2019-2020 Girls High School Basketball Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the MHS gym.
In its second game against Grace Christian Academy, MHS Varsity defended well and simply overpowered GCA, 42-7.
In the other games, Saipan Southern High School bested Kagman High School, 29-12, and edged Mount Carmel School, 22-21.
But MCS came back strong in its next game against GCA, 13-11.
For its part, Agape Christian School outlasted MHS Junior Varsity, 18-16.
