The Bears quickly established dominance with five runs in the opening inning. It was the errors of the Mariners that gave Bears the go-ahead as Kiku Lizama, who was first at bat, touched all four plates to start off the run. Rick Dela Cruz then earned an RBI bringing in AJ Lizama while Angel Palacios and JJ Lifoifoi added two more as the Mariners’ errors piled up. Peyton Lizama was the last to contribute, giving the Bears a 5-0 lead before the Mariners finally stopped the bleeding.

It was not until the second inning when the Mariners got their rhythm going, but it was cut short as only Pat Tenorio could lend a helping hand in grabbing a single RBI. The Mariners tried to chip away the deficit but with only three runs made in the next three innings, they could not escape defeat.

The Bears, on the other hand, continued to shine, making runs in every inning. Five runs were made at the top of the 5th followed by two more in the 6th and 7th innings for a blowout Bears victory, 14-3.
