(Press Release) — On Saturday, January 28, 2016, the NAPU Outrigger Canoe Club and Stand Up Paddle Saipan (SUP SPN) will be hosting the 2nd Timmy Would Go Memorial Event.
An ocean event for all ages and the first of its kind with both outrigger canoe and stand-up paddle board races in a 2-day event.
Organizers are inviting the ocean sports community and their friends and families for a fun-filled day that will include competitions in men’s, women’s and junior’s divisions in outrigger canoe races and seven divisions in stand-up paddle board races for ages eight years old and up to a master’s division for those 50 years young and above. Live music will keep the spectators entertained throughout the event that will also feature prizes, food and drink vendors and for the whole family to enjoy.
The event will be held beachside of the Kilili Beach Park.
