LaoLao donates golf kart to Kagman police

LAOLAO Bay Golf & Resort President Kim Chang Ho on Thursday donated a golf kart to Department of Public Safety police officers assigned in Kagman.

Through an effort by Precinct 5 Rep. Lorenzo I. Deleon Guerrero, LaoLao Bay Golf is happy to donate one golf kart and will try to accommodate the community again in the future, said Kim Chang Ho as he turned over the golf kart key to the DPS police chief, Aniceto Ogumoro at 3 p.m. yesterday.

Kim said it is part of their commitment to contribute for the safety of the community.

Rep. Deleon Guerrero said police officers assigned in Kagman brought up with him the benefit of using a golf kart in patrolling Kagman villages. So he emailed Mr. Kim and asked if there is any kart that LaoLao can donate for the Kagman community.

“It will make it easier for our police officers to go around the villages. The good thing about golf kart is that they can reach isolated areas in the villages where the roads are so bad. And riding around villages on golf kart can also improve police visibility,” Deleon Guerrero said.

“It thanked Mr. Kim, his vice president and the entire management of LaoLao Bay golf resort for donating the golf kart. I look forward to continued cooperation in making Kagman a wonderful community,” he added.
