CNMI Bodybuilding, Physique Championships 2017 preview

THE Northern Marianas Bodybuilding and Physique Federation, otherwise known as the Commonwealth Bodybuilding Federation, hosts its 3rd Annual Bodybuilding and Physique Championships this coming Saturday, July 22, at the Multi-purpose Center.

In March of this year, NMBPF/CBF concluded its 3rd Annual Marianas Muscle competition, which was also held at the same venue.

Some of the confirmed competitors at this year’s championships include 2014 CNMI Championships and DC Classic 2016 Men’s Bodybuilding champion Aaron Tomokane, Marianas Muscle 2017 and DC Classic 2016 Men’s Physique champion Enrico Valdez andMen’s Bodybuilding 3rd Place winner of Hawaii’s Ikaika Classic 2017DonivanMendiola.

The competition categories are Masters Men’s (over 40) Bodybuilding and Physique; Open Men’s Bodybuilding and Physique; Junior Men’s (17 and under) Bodybuilding and Physique; Masters Women’s—Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, and Bikini; Open Women’s—Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, and Bikini; Junior Women’s—Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, and Bikini.

NMBPF Vice President Jocelyn Itibus informed Variety that the event is still accepting applicants. Competitors have until Wednesday, July 19, to turn in their registration forms and entry payments.

The entry fee to compete is $10 for NMBPF members and $15 for non-members.

The show starts at 5 p.m. and admission is $5 for spectators.
