The MCS Knights showcased their teamwork as they played in sync.

Merrick Toves’ led with six points to gain the advantage completing fast break plays.

MBA tried to break through but with a little success because only J. Cheng could put up a shot—a triple.

He also worked his way to get in the free throw line but missed both attempts while MCS’ Jeremiah Diaz joined the offensive contributing four points to put the team at a safe distance 12-3.

During the second canto MBA started to play more aggressively as Perez joined in adding extra ball handling ability to their offensive attacks putting up eight points alone, two coming from behind the three-point line to cut the deficit back within reach 19-13.

MBA remained persistent at the third quarter as they brought in marksman Perez connecting two critical triples from the corner to gain the distance but the hard work was quickly erased by Toves’ relentless attacks scoring seven points to keep MCS in control.

MBA tried to gather momentum staying aggressive to draw a handful of fouls by J. Cheng but MCS’ unselfish plays fed Richard Steele, R. Galang and J. Tenorio with a bucket each to hold the safe distance leading to the victory, 37-34.
