Human resource group meeting to discuss prevailing wage survey, related topics

(Press Release) — Representatives from the Northern Marianas Business Alliance Corp., having just returned from a door-knocking visit in Washington, D.C., will provide information on efforts to update the expired CNMI prevailing wage survey and how this will affect the submissions of FY 2020 CW petitions.

NMBAC will also discuss other provisions and requirements of the NMI U.S. Workforce Act of 2018, U.S. Public Law 115-218, such as the 30-day “touch back” requirement.

The Society for Human Resource Management-NMI chapter invites its members, associated HR and management staff, and interested members of the public to attend its next General membership meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Charley’s Cabaret at PIC beginning at 11:30 a.m.

This meeting is open to the public and will provide invaluable information for employers, managers, and HR professionals and staff. The presentation includes the PIC Magellan lunch buffet at the cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
