Opportunity Expo set for Saturday

(Press Release) — Residents looking for jobs, new skills, help with their small businesses, or other resources to better themselves, their families, and the community are invited to check out the CNMI’s first-ever Opportunity Expo this Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the multi-purpose center in Susupe.

More than 30 different organizations are confirmed to participate, including businesses and government agencies that are currently hiring, as well as public and private institutions offering education and training, assistance for small businesses and entrepreneurs, resources for people with disabilities, and programs for health, wellness, and addiction recovery.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, as employers will be accepting applications and conducting interviews on-site.

Hosted by Precinct 2 Reps. Christina Sablan and John Paul Sablan, the event is free and open to the public.
