Yap welcomes Palau’s contributions

KOROR (Palau Horizon) — The Yap State government warmly welcomed the loads of relief goods donated by Palau for the victims of typhoon Mitag.
Palau State Minister Temmy Shmull said Yap’s state and traditional leaders held a reception to express their appreciation.
Aside from the tons of goods and other necessities donated by the public and private businesses, the Palau government also raised over $3,000 cash donations plus $3,000 for fuel donated by Mobil Oil.
Shimbros International, Inc. was one of the private businesses that immediately responded to the Palau government’s request for donations in its effort to extend assistance to the victims of typhoon.
