NMC-CREES Open House on May 4

(NMC) — Northern Marianas College-Cooperative Research Extension and Education is inviting all stakeholders, honorable dignitaries and the general public to its Open House on Friday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NMC campus in As Terlaje.

NMC-CREES is offering two workshops — Crop Improvement Program and EFNEP —  in Room D-1. Concurrently, the other programs will be featuring interactive displays and presentations on Aquaponics, Tilapia Hatchery, homemade pesticides, new ideas for Value Added Food, Fruit Carving, home sewn dresses, and much more.

The public is invited to view firsthand the day-to-day work of all CREES staff during this entertaining and educating event. After visiting the CREES Open House, attendees are encouraged to head over to the Charter Day festivities which begin at 4 p.m. at the NMC south field next to the gym.
