Saipan Thursday
SAIPAN Mayor
Juan B. Tudela will sign a proclamation on Thursday, Nov. 15, to designate
the day as Feed Saipan Thursday.

Powdered and liquid milk donations are highly appreciated.
Tudela also encourages Saipan residents to fast for two-full meals on
this day. The money set aside to buy for one meal can be donated to Karidat

Salvation
Army announces holiday activities
THE Salvation
Army will begin putting out counter kettles and food donation boxes at
various Saipan supermarkets on Nov. 16.
Shoppers are encouraged to drop loose change into the counter kettles
and donate non-perishable into the food donation boxes inside the stores.
The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to assist with its annual
Christmas Kettle program, which will begin on Nov. 23.
Volunteers usually take two-hour slots, during which they accept donations
with the trademark Salvation Army bell and red kettle.
This traditional holiday fundraiser will help supply food and toys to
underprivileged families on Saipan.
For more information, call Wayne or Annie Gillespie at 322-8727.
