Owned by Laxmi Shrestha and Chola B. Gharti, Everest Kitchen has been serving healthy Nepalese and Mediterranean cuisine since 2014.

Everest Kitchen’s buffet spread includes kankung salad, pumpkin dish, vegetable and tofu salad, fish dish, and other healthy meals with various vegetables.

Shrestha said they change their menu daily, but they always use local ingredients. “Although sometimes local supplies may be hard to find, we still make sure that we have them on the menu and for the buffet of the day. Customers love our pumpkin dish, kankung and tofu salad.”

Many of its customers are satisfied with Everest Kitchen’s menu. “Fantastic,” one of them said. “This is one of the places in Garapan where you can eat healthy and enjoy food with local ingredients as well.”

“We will continue serving delicious but healthy meals to the community,” Shrestha said.
