Celebrity photography club Nemo was in Rota and Saipan on June 26-July 1, 2017, with actor Jungjin Lee, singing group Ulala Session member Myunghoon Kim, Hyuna and Euaerin of K-pop idol group 9-Muses, and notable commercial film producer Soyoung Cho.

The group visited the major attractions in Rota including award winning Teteto Beach, Song Song Village Lookout, As Matmos, and Swimming Hole, as well as must-see photo spots in Saipan.

“Through experiencing leisure activities like trolling, trekking, swimming, and more, our visiting celebrities captured vivid images and videos of the Mariana Islands on their cameras, and uploaded the images during their visit to their respective Instagram accounts,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman.   “These Instagram posts have generated a tremendous amount of buzz online among Korean fans.”

To further utilize the promotion to increase awareness of the Marianas, MVA is planning a Marianas Photo Exhibition featuring pictures taken by the participants during the tour. The photos and videos will also be used for both online and offline marketing programs, especially through the MVA’s official social media channels in Korea, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and various popular travel related social media platforms.

The group lodged at Rota Resort & Country Club and LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort during the tour. Jeju Air also supported the tour.
