“We want to pay tribute to the Brazilian Churrasco style,” Executive Sous Chef Tomokane said.

Churrasco was the cuisine in the late 1700’s during the “rancher age” for Brazilian cowboys or “gauchos.” This was the time of settlements and cattle ranching life. Churrasco literally translates to grilled meat. After a long day of herding cattle, gauchos would dig large fire pits and roast skewered meats over embers. This traditional method of cooking became known throughout the region producing flavorful meat in some parts of the world.

With exciting flavors, Chef Tomokane offers bountiful delicacies of roasted meat pierced on skewers. It may vary from beef, pork, sausage and chicken achieving that juicy cut slab of meat. The culinary team at Hyatt Regency Saipan brings excitement to the island intro-ducing art and diversity onto the plate and what they call, “grilled to perfection.”

Churrasco Nights will feature their main salad bar and appetizer delicacies which are: the Argentina salad, Quinoa tomato basil red wine vinaigrette, Stuffed Jalapeno peppers, and Octopus ceviche. From their hot entrée presentation, they will have Brazilian Peijoada and Moqueca Seafood stew. Completing the evening, the team will be having dessert stations and a live grill of the Churrasco meats itself - Certified Angus Beef® and Pork chorizo sau-sages.

“We start of a great product and we end with a great one as well.” Chef Tomokane said.

Making its way, Churrasco Nights will be held on July 26 and 27 at Kili Cafe and Terrace from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm showcasing a whole new level of Brazilian style Churrasco buffet offering the best Certified Angus Beef® and seafood jumbo skewers served fresh from the live grill. This wonderful dining experience includes free flowing beer, wine and ice tea.

The buffet is priced at $60 per person and $40 for club and Hyatt members. Reservations are highly recommended. For more information, please call +1 670-234-1234 ext. 26.
