Creating locally inspired products for guests and residents continues to be a priority for I Love Saipan’s owner Alex Youn who said the recently introduced and eponymous beer brand of the store is infused with locally grown coconuts.

“Coconut is something that all tourists want to try here on Saipan so I thought about creating a beer that has local coconut taste. I want to make it a good and memorable experience for tourists visiting Saipan. It’s a unique product that can help local farmers as well,” Youn said.

He added that the beer is brewed in Korea with natural spring water.

“I was approached by a vendor who is willing to sell it in Korea, but I would like to see how it does on Saipan before we move forward to other markets,” he said.

I Love Saipan is also known for its Korean corn dog, Myungrang, which is a franchise business in over 700 locations worldwide.

“I want to have more new attractions on island to bring in tourists and local traffic into the store,” Youn said. “Our hotdog is a popular menu choice among tourists and it tastes awesome!”

As for coconut beer, it is available at any I Love Saipan branches, Fiesta Resort Food Court (Managaha), Himawari, Welcome Market, and Family Store in Garapan.

I Love Saipan branches are located at Star Sands Plaza in Garapan, the Hyatt, Local Food Market, Paseo De Marianas, Kensington Hotel, and Saipan World Resort.
