THE Hericanes ended the regular season of the 2025 Allied Pacific Environmental Consulting Basketball League on a high note, tearing apart the Beach Front Ballers 66–28 in a Ladies Division game at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium on Monday night.

The skill gap between the two teams was evident, as the Hericanes established early dominance in the opening half.

Rachel Langu made her presence felt within the first minutes, continuously punishing defenders from inside the perimeter with six points — including an and-one play — to fuel the Hericanes’ momentum.

On the opposing end, the Beach Front Ballers fought back using all the tricks in the book in an attempt to close the gap but lacked the firepower to match the Hericanes. Only Klea Catanus and Prescilla Tomokane — who drained a three-pointer — managed to score.

The Hericanes also controlled the pace with strong defensive coverage, forcing the Beach Front Ballers into a handful of turnovers and rushed shots. This gave the Hericanes easy transition buckets, capitalized on by Kaia Travilla and Asia Hilario, heading into halftime with a comfortable 36–10 lead.

In the second half, the Beach Front Ballers showed more confidence as Dianne Pablo and Gia Hemley joined the fray with a couple of treys and capitalized on second-chance opportunities.

But despite their efforts, they struggled to find consistency on offense, missing more shots than they made. This only favored the Hericanes, who turned mistakes into points and gradually extended their lead to secure a blowout victory, 66–28.

The second game of the night was claimed by Prime, who bested the Air Ballers in overtime, 41–33.
