Governor renominates Atalig, Masga, Santos to CHCC board

GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres has renominated Fermin M. Atalig of Rota, Polly DLG Masga of Saipan and Corrine H. Santos of Tinian to serve another six-year term on the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.’s board of trustees.

Their terms ended last month and, if confirmed by the Senate, their new terms will end on June 22, 2027.

In his letter to Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, the governor said CHCC is mandated to coordinate and provide the delivery of quality healthcare to the people of the CNMI in a “financially responsible manner.”

The governor said he is confident that Atalig, Masga and Santos will continue to devote their time and efforts on an important board.

He respectfully asked for the Senate’s expeditious support and favorable action on the nominees.
