DAVENALT Jones is the newest addition to the Amigos Golf Club’s list of aces.
On day 1 of the tournament held Sunday, July 11, at the Kingfisher Golf Links, Jones cleared the course with a gross of 81. With a handicap of 22, his net score was 59 which put him well ahead of the competition.

On day 2, held Sunday, July 25, also at Kingfisher, Jones failed to sustain his performance as he struggled to stay below par, ending with a gross score of 92. But with a 22 handicap, he still stood strong with a net score of 70 and a combined net total of 129 which gave him the July Ace of the Month title.
Taking second place was Joe Tudela who, on day 1, scored a gross of 75 and a net of 64, thanks to a handicap of 11.
On day 2, Tudela grossed 85 which, because of his 11 handicap, gave him a net score of 74 and a net total of 138.
He also won the Closest to the Pin side event for hole #6 while Dung Tenorio reigned on hole #8; Shirley Jones, hole #12; and Chris Guerrero, hole #15. Each of them took home a $120 cash prize.
