(DEQ) — The Division of Environmental Quality will hold a public hearing for the proposed permanent hot mix asphalt plant located in Sinapalo, Rota. Radiocom Saipan, Inc. is proposing to establish a permanent hot mix asphalt plant to meet the needs of future road projects in Rota.
The public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at 5 p.m. at the Rota Superior Court. Covid-19 protocols will be implemented and all participants are required to wear a mask at all times.
Written comments can be submitted in writing to the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality Rota office or emailed to deq.air@becq.gov.mp
The draft Minor Source Permit can be reviewed at the BECQ Rota Office or accessed via the BECQ website at http://deq.gov.mp/sec.asp?secID=15
All written and oral comments received by DEQ will be included as part of the permit application records and will be considered in any decisions concerning the proposed project.
