(SCC) — The countdown has begun! With just nine days remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its upcoming 3rd Quarter Professional Development Training: “Effective Communication in the Workplace,” scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025, at Northern Marianas College, Room K-1/K-2. This timely and impactful event is presented in partnership with NMC’s Community Development Institute, and is designed to help professionals and teams strengthen one of the most essential skills in today’s workplace, communication.
Attendees may choose between a morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon or an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This training will focus on key communication strategies, including active listening, message clarity, and tools for navigating interpersonal, corporate, and mass communication in a fast-evolving business environment. The workshop is ideal for entry-level employees, managers, team leaders, and anyone who wishes to boost their workplace effectiveness through improved communication.
The training fee is $50 for Saipan Chamber members and $60 for future members. Organizations registering three or more participants will receive a group discount of $5 off per person. Registration includes admission to the session, light refreshments, and digital training materials. To enhance the interactive experience, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or digital device.
