(BECQ) — The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality beach cleanup team will be at it again, picking up trash at Makaka Beach from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
If you would like to volunteer your time to clean and beautify our island, meet the BECQ representatives on Saturday between the ABC store and the IPI casino at 7:45 a.m. Volunteers will split into groups and clean until 10 a.m.
Please bring reusable water bottles.
Come and join BECQ’s monthly beach cleanup and “Pick It Up!” Let us work together for the beauty of our islands, health of our coral reefs and cleanliness of our beaches for everyone to enjoy safely. Let’s control the spread of Covid-19 by wearing a mask to the clean-up event.
