VICENTE Palacios and Michael Camacho ruled round 4 of the minis I and II classes in the Marianas Racing Association 2021 Points Race Series on April 25 at Cow Town Raceway Park.
In the minis I class, Palacios had to fight for the top spot as every other rider was also aiming for first place.
In heat 1, it was Devin Yumul who called the shots as he controlled his pace to lead the competition and take first place which was worth 25 points.
Stanley Iakopo Jr. followed behind in second place, earning 22 points while Vicente Palacios took third which gave him 20 points.
Heat 2 was Palacios’s time to shine as he pulled the throttle and never looked back.
It was a close battle for the top spot but as the dust settled, Palacios came out victorious to collect t25 points. With a total 45 points, Palacios took first place in round 4 while Iakopo Jr. was second with 44 points and Yumul was third with 43.
Yumul remains number one in the overall standings with a total of 190 points followed by Harley Susulin with 158 points and Leighton Palacios with 154.
Minis II
In the minis II class, Michael Camacho stole the show with first place finishes in both heats for yet another perfect 50-point performance.
He also scored 50 points in the previous rounds so he now has a total of 200 points to remain the overall leader.
Ethan Yumul, who is in overall second place, had two second place finishes in round 4 which gave him 44 points and a grand total of 176 points.
For her part, Mariana Alvarez is third overall with a total of 158 points.
Mini ATV
In the mini ATV class, Theresa Borja also had a dominant ride with her fourth 50-point finish that puts her firmly on top with a grand total of 200 points.
Jesus Santos is second with 174 points while Melvin Reyes is third with 156 points.
Power puff
In the power puff class, Billie Pangelinan bagged 47 points in round 4 to take first place. With a total score of 181 points, she is the overall leader while Nanako Celis is close behind with 177 points and Shaniah Alvarez is third with 155 points.
