(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be traffic delays along Chalan Pale Arnold in San Roque, extending north to the former Mariana Resort & Spa in Marpi, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
These delays are part of the CUC Energy and Utilities Infrastructure Master Plan project to allow GHD, Inc., consultants of the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs-Office of the Governor, to collect field measurements. GHD, Inc. will be verifying CUC’s sewer system assets, including sizes and locations.
Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution while driving in the area or taking alternative routes.
About the project
The CUC Energy and Utilities Infrastructure Master Plan is funded by the CBMA and aims to support long-term infrastructure improvements across the CNMI. The project involves mapping and modeling all of CUC’s utility assets to improve service reliability, guide future upgrades, and strengthen system resilience.
