Isaac Aguon takes lead in MGA Ace of Aces tourney

ISAAC Aguon won the Marianas Golf Association Ace of April title and has taken the lead in the Ace of Aces tournament.

MGA held its April Ace tourney at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort’s West Course where a total of 34 members and four guests joined the tournament which was also MGA’s first day of the Ace of Aces season finale.

Scores from the April Ace tourney were used for the first day of the Ace of Aces event among the 12 monthly winners.

Isaac Aguon clinched the April Ace  title by a hair as he shot a gross of 46 on the front nine before improving his stroke on the back nine with a gross of 38 for a total score of 84. With a handicap of 19, Aguon ended the day with a net of 65 to claim the title, which was the last spot that was vacant for this season.

After Aguon won the Ace event, he joined the other monthly aces vying for the Ace of Aces title.
