TINIAN (Press Release) — The Ohala Foundation is pleased to announce that former CNMI attorney general, Tinian mayor and current private attorney JP San Nicolas and his law office have joined in supporting the efforts of the Ohala Foundation and its goal to help those most in need.
From March 27 to April 6, the San Nicolas Law Office in Saipan will be receiving food donations for transfer to Tinian in support of the bi-weekly “Ohala Foodbox Distribution Program.”
“I wanted to commend Ohala Chairman Phillip Mendiola-Long, the rest of the Ohala board members and its hard-working volunteers and supporters for their continued efforts in feeding and taking care of our people. I frequently travel between Saipan and Tinian and I look forward to delivering whatever donations we can receive to the Foundation. Our office is located on Chalan Pale Arnold, Gualo Rai on the 2nd floor of the Island Commercial Center, across from First Hawaiian Bank,” said attorney San Nicolas.
“Support from our local businesses like San Nicolas Law is critical and appreciated. The impact of hunger and food security affects all of our communities and we thank attorney San Nicolas for his support in getting food and supplies over to Tinian,” said Ohala Chairman Phillip Mendiola-Long.
The Ohala Foundation has provided assistance to over 300 families that are facing food shortages and would like to thank those generous sponsors and the community for their support.
