THE Saipan Golf Association ended its season with Das Krishnan winning the two-day 2020 Ace of Aces Tournament.

Krishnan excelled on day one, which was held at the Kingfisher Golf Links, and this gave him the early advantage. He scored a low gross of 38 on the front nine but slightly struggled on the back nine for a gross of 40 and a total score of 78. With a handicap of 12, Krishnan’s net score was 60.
Day two of the tournament was held at the Coral Ocean Golf Resort which proved to be the tougher course.
Krishnan settled for a gross of 42 on the front nine but managed to improve his game on the back nine with a score of 39 for a total gross of 81. With a 12 handicap, his net score was 69.
Combined with his day one net score, his grand net score was 129 which put him well ahead of the competition.
Alex Tudela also had a stellar performance on day one when he scored a gross of 36 on the front nine and 39 on the back for a total gross score of 75. With a handicap of 10, his net score was 65.
He continued to swing with consistency on day two with a gross of 41 on the front nine and 40 on the back for a total gross score of 81 and a net score of 71. With a net score of 136, Tudela was the first runner-up.
The rest of the top five were Frances Sablan with a grand net score of 141; Larry Deleon Guerrero, 146; and John “Nanni” Cruz, 150.

• Closest to the Pin, day one — Tony Deleon Guerrero (#6), Rene Batallones (#8), Das Krishnan (#12) and Tony Deleon Guerrero (#15).
• Closest to the Pin, day two — Mariano Fajardo (#3), Tony Benavente (#7), John “Nanni” Cruz (#12) and Das Krishnan (#14).
• Longest Drive, day one — John “Nanni” Cruz (#9) and Nick Sablan (#18).
• Longest Drive, day two — Rick Kautz (#1) and Alex Tudela (#18).
