(Northern Marianas Athletics) — This Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 6 a.m., NMA will be sponsoring the first ever NMI Women’s Run. This live race will start at American Memorial Park in front of the Hyatt. Female runners can participate in the 10 Kilometer Run/Walk individually or on teams and the winning team will be able to donate all race proceeds to a CNMI charity of their choice. If you are a male or just can’t make that date and time, there are also several virtual categories as well: 10k, 5k and 5k team. Participants are invited to complete their chosen distance anytime during the month of March and upload the results in the Race Roster portal.
NMA is inviting everyone to heed the International Women’s Day call to #ChooseToChallenge by coming out during the Month of March, running a distance of their choice and helping to honor women around the world.
