JAMES “Jim” Arenovski, CEO of Island Training Solutions, has been appointed to the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute’s Education Certification Advisory Council.
The AHLE is the premier source for education and certification in hospitality worldwide.
Island Training Solutions has been an AHLEI partner since 2014 and has been offering hospitality certifications for the CNMI Public School System, CNMI Department of Labor’s Hospitality Pre-Apprenticeship Program, as well as hotels, resorts, and restaurants.

Serving as the voice of the hospitality industry, the Council fosters robust conversation among peers, facilitates knowledge sharing, and promotes inspiring success stories and career opportunities in hospitality.
Arenovski’s work with AHLEI’s ECAC will include recommending best practices for educational and professional development resources, building strategic connections that inform best practices and career preparation, developing strategies that encourage career growth and providing advice on the development of training and professional certification products.
