(Press Release) — The Lions Clubs International in District 204, Region 2 will hold its annual health fair on Feb. 21, 2021, Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at the Joeten-Daidai Social Hall of Mt. Carmel Cathedral.
The event will provide free medical services such as blood pressure check, sugar/glucose testing, diabetes awareness, distribution of reading glasses and general health awareness that will help improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The health fair will start with an hour of Zumba activity led by the Saipan Fitbeat Lions Club.
A reminder for those who will take the glucose/sugar test: don’t take food or any drinks except water for eight hours before the test.
LCI District 204, Region 2 is composed of eight clubs on Saipan: namely Saipan Fil-Am, Saipan Unity, Saipan Marianas, Saipan Alliance, Saipan Natibu, Saipan Centennial, Saipan Pacific and Saipan Fitbeat Lions Club.
The clubs can create their own projects on a club level to focus on the Lions’ five service challenges: youth, environment, vision, hunger and diabetes.
